KitKat Offers Users A Break Via Mobile App

May, 2012 Nestle, the parent company of KitKat is offering a new mobile app offering users a break from the stress of social media. Nestle says the new app is a solution to a growing concern of young social media users, that maintaining a presence on social media is stressful. Recent studies have found that social media users feel a significant amount of pressure to maintain their social media commitments and activity. The app allows users to enter their account credentials for Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook and then set how often they wan t the app to send updates. The app will respond to items with eight random pre-loaded messages on Facebook and Twitter. As time goes on and if the app is successful Nestle hopes to add more sophisticated technology to responses and monitoring. For now however the app just monitors on a basic level to give users break they need. To read more go to
