Malibu Rum Using Social to Boost Winter Sales

September, 2011 Malibu Rum is using a Facebook Game as a brand extension to increase customer loyalty during winter months. The launch of the new game is a first for a spirits brand. The launch of the game also follows the spring introduction of Malibu Black, a less sweet, amber-colored rum positioned for winter.
