Facebook Releases Spam Report Cards

July, 2011

Facebook has released spam report cards for developers as a part of their new monitoring and enforcement programs.  These new report cards came as a result of too many applications being blocked without warning.  The old monitoring system blocked applications with negative user feedback via spam-fighting bots, irritating many developers.  The information on the report cards consist of both positive and negative user feedback and what the current standing of the application, according to Facebook.  They hope that developers will use these report cards to get a better idea of where they stand in the minds of users and how they need to improve their applications.  For more information, please visit MobileMarketingWatch
