Moosylvania Creatives Spotlighted in Behance Magazine

by Administrator January 12. 2009 08:06

During this past election season, we asked members from the Behance Network to let us know what mattered most to them.  It was an opportunity for them to make their voice heard through creative expression in any medium, on the theme "What Matters Most 2008."  We received some great submissions and we're happy to announce the top winners..

Big props to Ryan Hageman for his 'At One Time, You Gave A Damn' project.  Ryan says, "I took this opportunity to "voice an issue about the loss of progressive values and a lack of positive action from my elders. This statement is intended to force those who have neglected these values to rise again and triumph the message they once stood for."  Well done Ryan, well done.

We also liked Ryan Doggendorf for his view on the media hype.  Ryan reiterates, "What seems to matter most in this election is the media hype and social slander that is heard by all the voters. These three pieces say something beyond the average political propaganda. They are statements representing practical things that voters should be concentrating on.  Hopefully these posters inspire, and allow one to sit back and weigh out their decisions."  We agree.

Tigist Kelkay gathered the most votes with his 'Ethiopians for Obama' bumper sticker.  We believe that everyone can make a difference and anything that helps facilitate action is awesome in our books.

Last but not least, Jacob Etter shows us that this election is just the beginning in "Follow Through On What You've Begun" which encourages Obama to follow through on his promises and finish what he started.

There are many ways to get your voices heard.  These are four great examples of making a difference.  We hope that many of you will follow in their footsteps.
