Last post, we discussed the issues with HTML5 video and audio on mobile devices while creating the Moosylvania Holiday Card. While it was challenging, once it was completed, we then had the opportunity to take this mobile application and turn it into a native application for iOS devices and Android phones.
To accomplish creating these native apps, we utilized a great library called PhoneGap. PhoneGap basically allows you to take your HTML5 application that is optimized for mobile and then convert that app to a native app. All a user has to do is copy all of their rendered html and css, include a few Javascript files and you will pretty much have a fully built native app. (more…)

It’s that time of year again – when agencies send out holiday gifts to surprise and delight clients who are busy trying to wrap things up before the end of the year. So, what did Moose send out this year?
We’ve been working on a special gift for clients, with a few interesting aspects. The base of the gift is a portable, powerful speaker that was concepted, designed and created by our talented team of designers. To demonstrate the speaker’s capabilities, the interactive team took over and created a mobile-friendly landing page (with a related landing page geared for those viewing on desktop), an iPhone app, and an Android app.

As you’re having your first cup of coffee to start of your morning, you decide to check your email.
