Moose Philosophy

Throughout his career in the agency business, Norty has never stopped seeking, learning or adapting. He started as a copywriter and quickly became a new business guy when he watched his account guy try to sell his ideas. After five years of that, it was onto agency ownership where he was Chief Operating Officer of Zipatoni for a total of 16 years - before that agency sold to IPG. He founded Moosylvania in 2003 and is very proud of our people, our clients and our culture of embracing "what's next."

Always inspired by the "why?," Brooke began her career in television journalism (even won an Emmy), but moved quickly into marketing, where she could channel her curiosity into consumer behavior and brand strategy. She spent 6 years at Zipatoni before she helped found Moosylvania. She often feels like she's earned an "on-the-job MBA," learning from and contributing to a wide variety of national and global clients. She's inspired by the constantly emerging technology solutions, but believes it still has to come back to a solid objective and continually asking "why?” Brooke has worked on a variety of Miller brands, Bacardi brands, Kinko's, Capital One, Ocean Spray, General Cigar and Dean Foods.

Ryan has created and managed events for clients such as Coca-Cola, Kraft Foods and State Farm over his 15 years of on-the-road and event experience. He spent 5 years on the road with Momentum before he became Director of Production for Javelin, where he learned to create events before they happened. After six years at Javelin, he was recruited by Gigunda Group to spearhead the diversification of business services by implementing below-the-line promotions capabilities and running the agency's Midwest operations. Throughout his career, he’s recognized the need for consistent strategy and creative, as well as personal client attention – so, in 2010, Ryan joined Moosylvania to bring his experiential strategy to life with digital, branding and promotions.

Nick Foppe has spent the past 16 years working on both the brand and agency side of the marketing industry. Nick has worked as an Event Manager for the Michelob® and O’Doul’s® brands on the PGA Tour®, a Promotions Manager at Miller Brewing Company®, and a Senior Brand Manager, then Regional Sales Manager for Pabst Brewing Company®. While at Enterprise Rent-A-Car®, he led a team to launch marketing efforts for WeCar®, a new car sharing program. Nick brings a tremendous level of experience in both consumer strategy, as well as trade knowledge, which provides him an informed perspective at all touch points. You’ll find him skiing, fishing, or listening to live music when he is not traveling through airports for Moosylvania.

A good account service person makes everyone else's job easier - for the last 13 years, AnneMarie has been striving to do just that. From healthcare to QSR to CPG, AnneMarie has worked in a variety of industries and with a range of clients, offering strategic support, promotional expertise and a thoughtful POV. From day to day - and year to year - the requests vary, as do the solutions we recommend; it's this constant state of evolution that AnneMarie finds so invigorating about the business.

Rodney has led marketing initiatives for a variety of major technology, consumer goods, restaurant, entertainment and financial service companies. He began as a copywriter and quickly grew to run an award-winning independent agency, TMC, as the General Manager. From there, he went on to lead a global creative group at Cyrk/Simon. That was followed by his role as General Manager of Zipatoni-Chicago, opening and growing the office into a full-service agency. He then served as CMO, Managing Director of Hawkeye, a top 40 digital agency that reported the highest growth of all the major agencies in the 2008 Ad Age ranking. Rodney joined Moose at the end of 2008 as CMO to work – once again – with Norty. What Rodney likes most about Moosylvania is the passion that every Mooser has in bringing the future to fruition now.

Lynn's journey began with art school and wound its way through the blue highways of advertising and through the multi-laned freeways of sales promotion. Now, she cruises the autobahn with jetpacks in this post-advertising world. Lynn brings a visual and creative mind to marketing – or, maybe it's the other way around. Either way, she believes it is always possible and essential to surprise and delight the consumer with style and story. Lynn offers extensive experience with consumer packaged goods in particular, including beverage, pet food, candy and ice cream, to name a few.

Have you ever met a digital Viking? As a fearless leader and SEO warrior, Erin definitely fits the bill. Erin’s career in online marketing began at AutoTrader.com, and she continued building her digital dexterity at MonsterCommerce and Network Solutions. As founder of The Loud Few, a digital agency that’s now part of Moosylvania, Erin has created web, social, e-commerce and mobile marketing solutions for clients such as Anheuser-Busch, Universal Entertainment and Bacardi USA.

Rob Brooks has spent his career building brands, digging deep to find a true brand personality. Whether it’s traditional advertising, product, environmental concepts or digital design, his passion and personality come to life through every project he’s given. Rob has been leading some of our largest national clients for years and feels more comfortable the more challenging an assignment is for him and his creative team. When he’s not at The Embassy, Rob is always finding inspiration with personal illustration, design and photography projects. He also likes vintage motorcycles, frogs and growing facial hair.

Sharon has been in the agency business and working with COO Norty Cohen for more than 10 years. As VP of HR she tracks and recruits the best talent and helps keep the Moose environment fun and relaxed amidst the challenges. Which hat will Sharon wear today? An HR beret? A PR fedora? A hard hat? In addition to managing staffing, Sharon was key in the build-out of Moosylvania’s national award-winning space. Moosers are grateful for Sharon’s fun spirit and the seemingly effortless way she organizes the popular all-Moose celebrations, from BBQs to Habitat for Humanity.
